Every year about this time when hunting season starts Shayne goes on a week long archery hunt with my dad, friends, and uncles. This would not be so bad normally other than the fact that I have a hard time sleeping by myself. So I leave the light and TV on to get to sleep. I know its a little pathetic! However, when you add having a brand new baby and a daughter in kindergarten to the mix it makes for a tough week. Between getting up 3 times during the night and then up bright and early at 7 am to get Paige ready it gets tiring. I find myself so exhausted by the end of the day. I have to say for all of the single parents out there I have no idea how they do it. My hats off to them. I know that by the time Shayne comes home saturday I am going to need a week off!:)

Your are a wonderful Mother, so hats off to you to. Good luck and tomorrow when Shayne gets home relax and enjoy yourself, or send the kids over here to me.
Congrats on the new kid Amber. She is adorable. Cute blog too. Hope all is well. We should do lunch sometime. :0)
I am so sorry about the sleepless nights - I hear ya there - although I don't have the kindergarten problem though! :) I did the black/white/green photo with my camera. It is a feature called "color accent". I guess a lot of cameras have it - but I didn't learn how to use it till this weekend, so I have had a lot of fun playing with it!
